Michele Won 2nd Place in the 2007 Paint Webster Plein Aire Competition!

Location information - Michele wil be showing 20-30 framed pastel paintings in her home studio with demonstrations available upon request (time permitting). Her paintings are for sale and she accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard & Discover. Her studio is located four blocks North of Manchester in Rock Hill.

Directions- Going West on Manchester from McKnight, turn right on O'Day (before Berry Rd), left on Oakhaven & right on Oakleaf

Artist's Statement-
Originally from Vancouver, Michele attended art school in the 1980's. After moving to St. Louis in 1994 she started painting watercolors and then switched to pastels in 1999 (without ever looking back!) Her favorite subject matter is landscapes although she has recently been experimenting with abstraction. Michele spends many weekends painting outdoors "en plain aire". Michele is a member of the Plein Aire Painters of Mid America as well as the President of the Gateway Pastel Artists in St. Louis. She is also a member of the Gateway Gallery in Clayton.
