Irmgard Voss Irmgard's ceramic works are
made of a porcelain clay body that is fired in an electric kiln. "I love to develop and
experiment with glazes, giving special care to how they feel. After ending her teaching career in 1989, Irmgard decided to "live her passion" by working in clay. She took classes at the Craft Alliance, RIT, NYSC & SIUE to develop her skills in throwing, hand-building, sculpture & glaze technique. In 1993 & 1995 Irmgard attended Alfred University in New York and developed a unique approach to working with clays and glazes.
